M.A.M. Polytechnic college was started in the year 2007 and approved by the Directorate Of Technical Education (DOTE), Tamilnadu in the same year. The college secured its ISO 9001 certification in the year 2003, and continues to hold the same, till date, with the award of ISO 9001:2010.
