M.A.M. Polytechnic College was founded by Thiru. M.ABDUL MAJEDU is one of the recognized Technical Institution in middle region of Tamilnadu offering technical education especially to the rural community. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai and also an ISO 9001 : 2008 certified Institution.

Department Objectives

  1. To achieve 100% result in the Board Examinations
  2. To teach advanced levels with due exposure to the latest innovations and advancement in Computer fields
  3. Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of programming languages syntax and semantics
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of elements of computer hardware, architecture, assembly language, software systems and operating system
  5. Understand the relationship between computer science and the liberal arts
  6. Understand and appreciate the social and ethical implications of computing
  7. To provide practical exposure to the students through modern laboratories

The department has three laboratories.

Lab I : Multimedia laboratory

It has 30 systems with Pentium-IV processor with 512MB RAM,80GB HDD Acer Systems are installed with Windows XP. Software installed is Adobe Photoshop, JAVA, Net Beans, Dot Net Language.

  • III Year CSE : Multimedia Systems, Computer Hardware and Servicing.
